Niels Klavers and Saskia van Gelder are well-known Dutch designers and teachers at the Man and Identity department at Design Academy Endhoven. Niels Klavers is also head ofthe fashion department at Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam, and winner of the prestigious Grand Prix in Hyères. Every year, during the second autumn period, the two designers come to Aalto University to tutor in the Innovative Fashion Design course.

The course consists of innovative concept making, draping, sketching and pattern making. The students will also work with a five-chapter textile collection.
