Fashion Management Minor

Fashion Management minor studies offer students a unique opportunity to deepen their knowledge and skills in the international fashion business field.

The minor combines different teaching methods and practical cases resulting in rich learning experiences. The multidisciplinary backgrounds of participants open new ideas and perspectives as well as prepare students to work in diverse professional teams. The studies are essential for students pursuing a career in fashion and useful for careers in other design, retail and luxury industries.

Learning Outcomes

Having completed the minor the students have deepened their knowledge and skills in fashion marketing considering the demands of the international fashion business field. Multidisciplinary networking and the development of communication between different professionals are also an essential part of studies.

Content 

The minor consists of courses e.g. in fashion marketing, fashion communication, custom behaviour and design-driven foresight. The courses and teaching responsibilities are divided between the Aalto ARTS Department of Design and the Aalto BIZ Department of Marketing.
